The noise may be due to cable overlap inside the motor, which is not a malfunction. You can adjust the cable outlet to the highest level on the vertical bar, set the resistance to 11lbs (5kg), pull the cable out completely, and then let the G1 machine automatically retract the cable to eliminate the noise.
Ensure the product is on a flat surface and the pedal is properly locked. Tighten the foot pads if they are loose.
This may happen if there is an obstruction near the shaft or if the pedal is not unlocked. Please remove any objects that might be in the way, or unlock the pedal according to the instructions.
Install the two long screws first, then tighten the four short screws. Follow the installation order as shown in the manual.
